My name is tim and I love funny. After I moved to Denver, I really explored the metro area and the things to do. I discovered the city was bustling with comedy and was quickly gaining steam in the world of stand-up comedy. When I shifted career to real estate, I started showing houses, meeting new people, and analyzing the neighborhoods in more detail. That is when I discovered the fantastic improv comedy scene in Denver. I have been in various groups and classes since high school, but didn’t think much of it as a busy professional with kids.

One day, when speaking with a business coach with my company, I had an idea: I could inject funny into the monotony of paperwork, contracts, and showings. I would be able to use the skills I learned through improv to make people enjoy the transactional part.

Almost immediately, my joy for a career that I already loved got better. I was able to make people’s lives better through real estate, but at the same time make them giggle or relax during some tense moments in the buying and selling process.

My love for improv comedy has made me a better husband and father, a better Realtor, and a better person… and I’m not even that funny.

Whether it be connecting with an improv group to let you meet new people, seeing a comedian try a new set, or seeing an improv show at a really unique place like the Chaos Bloom Theatre, hopefully this site helps you to be better in some way.
